In Ubuntu-18 (WSL) the following works:
curl https://cli-assets.heroku.com/install.sh | sh
after installation, check:
which heroku
This should be (or is in my case): /usr/local/bin/heroku
(with previous Ubuntu versions, I've experienced some update issues, Heroku putting stuff in the non-local bin folder, solved it with a soft link)
Login:
heroku login
Or to stay in the command window:
heroku login -i
Show config variables:
heroku config
Running Heroku locally with hl
(alias heroku local
), it looks for file '.env'.

Then the following command works:
heroku pt
